Professionally Dr. Paulin Paul is a teacher who holds a Diploma in Education from Mtwara Teachers’ College, Tanzania and he has worked as a secondary school teacher for about eight years. Dr. Paul he holds a PhD in Rural Development and a Master’s degree in Rural Development both from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro, Tanzania. He also attained a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development from SUA. Currently, Dr Paulin Paul is working as a lecturer at the Kizumbi Institute of Cooperative and Business Education (KICoB)-MoCU. Before transferred to KICoB in November 2022. Dr. Paul worked for the Department of Extension and Outreach Programmes-MoCU as a Regional Programme Coordinator for the Kilimanjaro regional office from 2012 to 2015 and the Mwanza regional office from 2015 to 2022 with key role of executing consultancies, conducting training needs assessment, training and capacity building of Co-operative Societies and other related Community Based Organizations. Based on the various responsibilities and duties performed, Dr. Paul has acquired knowledge and field experience in co-operative practices and management. His areas of expertise include Social Scientist with expertise in educational management in primary and secondary schools, rural and community development expert specifically in the area of co-operative practices and management, project planning, project appraisal, project monitoring and evaluation, gender aspects in development, agricultural development, adult training and an expert of Public Private Partnerships as a development model.
