Mr Oigen Daudi Usiri holds a Bachelor of Art in Co-operative Management and Accounting (BA-CMA) from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Diploma in Cooperative Management and Accounting from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) and Certificate in Accounting and Finance from Sokoine University (SUA). Currently he works with Moshi Co-operative University as Tutorial Assistant at Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative Business Education-(KICoB). Before joining Moshi Co-operative University Mr. Oigen Usiri worked with an international organization namely Rikolto East Africa for more than 3 years in the projects office as an agri-business advisor involved in the implementation of various development projects undertaken by the organization in Arusha, Kilimanjaro and Manyara region he also has an experience on partnering with various international and local organization, few to mention; the German Agency for International Cooperation-(GIZ), Doen Foundation from the Netherlands, International Centre for Development Oriented Research in Agriculture-(ICRA), Tanzania Plant Health and Pesticides Authority-(TPHPA), and Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute-(TARI). Mr. Usiri has executed numerous trainings; community services and consultancy work basically to Farmers Business Organizations (FBOs) such as agricultural co-operatives and farmers’ groups and in activities to link them with Local and International NGOs as well as with public sectors. Also, during his study history he has been in different leadership positions including been a member of University’s Disciplinary Committee for 1 year when he was serving as the Prime Minister of the Student organization at Moshi Co-operative University between 2018-2019.
