MoCU Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. John Safari Awards Certificates to 194 Graduates in Co-operative Short Course Programs
On October 14, 2024, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Research, and Consultancy at Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU), Prof. John Safari, awarded certificates to 194 graduates of two cooperative programs. The graduates were from the Agricultural Marketing Co-operative Bookkeeping Program and the Co-operative Leadership and Management Program.
The ceremony was held at the Kizumbi Institute of Cooperative and Business Education (KICoB) in Shinyanga. Prof. Safari congratulated the graduates and urged them to apply the knowledge and skills they had gained to improve the quality of accounting, safeguard members’ interests, and attract non-members to join cooperative societies. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperative principles, fostering a competitive environment, and ensuring clean audit reports to secure a brighter future for cooperatives.
