Janeth Godwin Mwaipopo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Ruaha Catholic University(RUCU), a Master of Science in Finance and Investment from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM). She is a Certified Public Accountant(CPA T) by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors(NBAA), Certified Financial Educator (CFE) by the Bank of Tanzania (BOT). She currently serves as an assistant lecturer in accounting and finance at Moshi Cooperative University(MOCU)- Kizumbi Campus

Mr. Anthony Gikuri Nchagwa is an Assistant Lecturer who values autonomous and progressive learning. Dr Marco Sanka is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Management at the Moshi Co-operative University, with a strong academic and practical background in econometrics, applied microeconomics, applied statistics, environmental valuation and policy, agricultural finance, and advanced impact evaluation techniques. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Makerere University, Uganda, and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Dr Sanka has accumulated extensive experience in university teaching and research. Currently, he is a lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University in Tanzania. While pursuing his PhD at the University of Pretoria, he also served as a tutor and graduate assistant in undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including applied econometrics, applied microeconomics, introduction to environmental and natural resource economics, and environmental valuation and policy. These roles have sharpened his technical and pedagogical skills, while deepening his expertise in policy analysis, impact evaluation, and applied economic modelling. These academic roles have strengthened his technical and pedagogical expertise, particularly in applied economic analysis and quantitative methods, while enabling him to conduct impactful research and mentor students.

His research interests are in agricultural policies, agricultural finance, behavioural economics, sustainable agriculture, food security, development economics, resources and environmental economics, rural livelihoods, climate-smart agriculture, climate change financing, and Impact evaluation. He is skilled in designing household surveys, analysing large datasets using impact evaluation techniques and advanced panel data econometrics. He is proficient in STATA, R and SPSS for data analysis. Marco has contributed to academic publications, technical reports, and policy briefs to inform decision-makers and development stakeholders. Dr. Masatu Julius Malima is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Management at the Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative and Business Eduation (KICoB), Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), where he also earned both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Linguistics and Education, respectively.

Dr. Malima has a diverse academic background, with a particular focus on Critical Discourse Analysis, Language Education, and Professional Communication. His academic journey began at the University of Dar es Salaam, where he completed his Bachelor’s in Education (BA Ed.) in 2009, followed by his Master’s in Linguistics in 2013, and later, a PhD in Linguistics from 2022 to 2025.

He has contributed significantly to research and academic writing, particularly in the fields of linguistics and communication studies. Eng. Athuman B. Mustapha is an ICT, networking, and cybersecurity professional with a
strong blend of academic qualifications and industry experience. He holds a Master of
Science in Information Systems and Network Security from the Nelson Mandela African
Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Engineering, and a Full Technician Certificate in Computer Engineering, both from the
Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT).
He currently serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Business Management at
the Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative and Business Studies (KICoB) of Moshi Co-operative
University (MoCU). His teaching, research, and consultancy work cover the broad spectrum

Before joining academia, Eng. Mustapha gained extensive hands-on experience through
various technical and engineering roles. He served as a Network and Transmission
Engineer at ZANTEL (T) Ltd, a Network Surveillance Engineer with HUAWEI
International Ltd, and an ICT Technician in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.
He has also contributed to consultancy and community-based technology projects with
organizations such as Johns Hopkins University CCP Tanzania, Red Cross Tanzania
(Shinyanga), and SHIMASA CBO, focusing on ICT systems deployment, digital solutions,
capacity building, entrepreneurship support, and project planning.

Dr. Odax Manumbu Lawrence is a Senior Lecturer, consultant, and researcher at the Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative and Business Education (KICoB), a constituent of Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). He holds a PhD in Education from MoCU, and both a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Dar es Salaam. His academic career began in 2014, rising to Senior Lecturer by July 2024.

Dr. Odax plays significant roles in institutional governance, including serving as Risk Management Champion since March 2025, Chair of the Strategic Plan Implementation Team since December 2023, and Academic Staff Representative on the MoCU Workers’ Board since May 2023. He also coordinates Sports and Recreation at KICoB and previously served as Examination Coordinator for the Faculty of Business and Information Sciences.

Beyond the academic sphere, he contributes as an interpreter at the High Court of Tanzania. His research interests span Curriculum Design, Comparative Education, Adult Learning, Co-operative Education, Educational Management, English Language Teaching, and Critical Thinking.

Mr. Kisra Salum Mchoro is a legal professional with a Bachelor of Laws with Shariah (LLBs) from the Muslim University of Morogoro and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at KICoB–MoCU, Dr. Paul has previously coordinated regional outreach programmes at MoCU in Kilimanjaro and Mwanza. Mr. Frank Crispin Kinabo is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Law at Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). He is also engaged in research and consultancy. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Relations (LL.M) from the University of Bagamoyo. Previously, he served as an Assistant Lecturer at Mwenge Catholic University (MWECAU). His areas of interest include Intellectual Property, Environmental Law, Corporate Law, Tax Law, Criminal Law, and International Trade and Finance Law.

Ms. Karen Archibald

Ms. Karen Archibald is a dedicated professional in the field of Banking and Finance, holding both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in the discipline. She has served as an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha, gaining extensive experience in academic delivery and curriculum development. Her passion extends beyond academia into community development and youth empowerment through her work with Training For Life Tanzania. She currently serves as an Assistant Lecturer at Moshi Co-operative University, Kizumbi Campus (KICoB).

Mr. Regan John Ndosi

Mr. Regan John Ndosi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Co-operative Management and Accounting (Management Option) from Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU). He currently serves as a Tutorial Assistant at Moshi Co-operative University, Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative Business Education (KICoB). Prior to this, he worked at the Hai District Co-operative Office, where he provided education and training to members of SACCOs and AMCOs within the district.

Mr. John Mwela

John Mwela is an academic and industry professional with broad expertise in Marketing, Branding, Social Media Management, Sales, and Business Management. He leverages strategic thinking and data-driven approaches to transform challenges into growth opportunities and build impactful brands. With a focus on ethical leadership and innovation, John promotes inclusive work environments and inspires teams to achieve creative excellence. His blend of academic knowledge, professional experience, and forward-thinking leadership ensures alignment of business strategies with evolving market demands.

Dr. Richard Msuya

Dr. Richard Msuya is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Cooperative Education at the Institute of Cooperative and Business Education (KICoB), Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU), Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Co-operative and Microfinance Management from MoCU, Tanzania.

He also graduated with a Master’s degree in Cooperative and Community Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperative Management and Accounting from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Tanzania.

Dr. Msuya began his academic career as a Tutorial Assistant at the then Moshi University College of Co-operative and Business Studies (MUCCoBS) in 2010 and was promoted through various academic ranks, becoming a Senior Lecturer in 2021.

Since his first appointment, Dr. Msuya has participated in teaching, research, consultancies, and community services in the fields of co-operatives, community development, microfinance, and accounting. He teaches research in areas allied to Co-operative Management, Microfinance Management, Community Development, and Accounting.

Dr. Christina Alfred Mwakabumbe

Dr. Christina A. Mwakabumbe is a highly accomplished academic and finance specialist currently serving as the Head of the Department of Business Management (DBM) at the Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative and Business Education (KICoB), Moshi Co-operative University.

She holds a PhD in Finance, a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Management and Accounting from Sokoine University. With a strong foundation in cooperative finance, her career began as a cashier at the Morogoro Vocational Teachers Training College (MVTTC), which laid the groundwork for her transition into academia.

Dr. Mwakabumbe is dedicated to fostering excellence in business education and has played a key role in curriculum development, academic mentorship, and strategic leadership within KICoB.

Prof. Isaac Kazungu

Prof. Isaac Kazungu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management. He holds a Diploma in Education (Physics & Mathematics) from Klerruu College of National Education, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Dar es Salaam (2008), a Master of Science in Marketing Management from Mzumbe University (2011), and a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (2018).

He has over 14 years of experience as an academician, researcher, and consultant. His areas of expertise include Business Planning, Marketing Research, International Marketing, Enterprise Development, Corporate Strategic Planning, Business Research Methods, Sustainable Livelihoods, and Project Impact Evaluations.

Prof. Kazungu’s academic roles encompass teaching, research, and consultancy. He has authored or co-authored 3 books, published 28 journal articles, presented two conference papers, and written six book reviews. He has supervised and examined over 16 postgraduate and numerous undergraduate research projects.

He has also held key university leadership positions including Examination Coordinator (FBIS), Coordinator of the Co-operative Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (CEIC), Head of the Research and Publication Department, Training Officer, Acting Director of the Bureau of Consultancy Services (BCS), and currently serves as the Director of the Kizumbi Institute of Co-operative and Business Education (KICoB).

Prof. Kazungu has participated in notable research projects such as the LUNA research project (2009–2012) across five African countries and Germany, the BEST-D funded studies on coffee pricing and sustainability of agricultural marketing co-operatives, and the ongoing SUSIE project on Sustainable Employability through HEI’s Innovative Pedagogy, in collaboration with four universities including MoCU.

He brings over 12 years of consultancy experience in Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Planning, Strategic Planning, Business Development Services, Marketing of Agricultural Products, Entrepreneurship, and Co-operative Business Management.
