This programme was designed to equip undergraduate non-degree students to deal with Co-operative Management technical issues in the local and national competitive business environment. Graduates in this programme should be able to take up some Managerial, Promotional and Accounting positions in Co-operative, Community Development, Government, and Non-governmental establishments. Specific objectives shall be to: -

Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance (BA-AF) aimed at:
- Equip candidates with high level Management and Accounting knowledge and skills to become Co-operative facilitators and Accountants at intermediate level.
- Enable candidates appreciate and apply values and principles relevant to Co-operative Promotion and Development.
- Address the local and regional professional requirements on practices of Co-operative enterprise.

Equivalent Qualifications:
UQF level 4 and NTA level 4 that are relevant to the programme. Applicants with UQF level 4 and NTA Level 4 should have at least four passes at Ordinary level (NQF level 4) including English and Mathematics.
Direct Entry:
NQF Level 5 (Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education) with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary in any of the subjects: Accountancy, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
