Dr. Isaac Kazungu, Director of Kizumbi Institute of Cooperative and Business Education (KICoB), accompanied by academic department heads Dr. Ibrahim Msuya (Cooperative Education Department) and Dr. Christina Mwakabumbe (Business Management Department), visited the Shinyanga Regional Commissioner, Hon. Anamringi Macha, on July 18, 2024. The visit, in response to an invitation from the regional commissioner, aimed to gather information about Cooperative University of Moshi and Kizumbi Institute of Cooperative and Business Education.
During the meeting, Dr. Isaac Kazungu highlighted the institute’s programs, research initiatives, advisory services, and plans for constructing two new buildings soon, funded by the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) project. The Regional Commissioner emphasized the need for the institute to impart professional skills to students to enhance their employability post-graduation. He also pledged support to ensure timely completion of the construction projects.
The visit underscores the commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure and preparing future professionals in cooperative and business education at Kizumbi Institute of Cooperative and Business Education.
